Greetings Everyone,
After a long wait due to the office move we have finally decided on a date for the Version 4.8 release: Wednesday, September 10th. We will do this release just after the standard maintenance downtime and will extend the maintenance downtime for 1 hour to cover our time to do the full roll out. If we finish the rollout early, we'll turn off the maintenance mode.
Version 4.8 is a sizable release. It contains enhancements to user logins, many ItemStats enhancements, ItemStats additions for multiple games, mult-game itemstats (link itemstats for Warhammer in a WoW guild site for instance), foreign language fixes for WoW profile uploads as well as multi language ItemStats (French, German, Spanish and Russian on the way when WoWHead adds it) as well as some awesome new scheduling and recruitment tools.
In addition to those new features there are a slew of smaller enhancements such as WoW character bank privacy settings, performance improvements for Private Messages, performance improvements for the My User Page, the addition of a "spoiler" BBCode and a whole lot more.
Warhammer is entering Open Beta this weekend and we are planning to release new Warhammer functionality as they become available. For the most part we have to see what Mythic provides, then take some time to develop the functionality, then test it and release it. So some of it won't be instant on, but it's definitely on our radar.
The 4.8 release has Warhammer itemstats from MMODB and allows for Item popups from links to WarDB. The item popus from a WarDB link in the forums was release as a hotfix already. The WarDB folks are supposed to release additional info this weekend about item syndication, we will see if we can work that into 4.8.
On a side arc to this release Vicki has been working heavily on Warhammer graphics and templates. We will be incorporating what is complete from her work into a mini release for the end of next week or early the week of the 15th.
Thanks for your patience while we worked through our office move and the issues from the fire that precipitated that move. With 4.8 on it's way out we'll be officially back in gear and have some awesome functionality lined up for 4.9 already!

Greetings everyone,
I hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day vacation. The Guild Launch offices are officially closed on Monday and I am taking my family to the beach for Labor Day weekend starting on Friday and I won't be back into the office until Thursday. I plan to throw my cellphone in the ocean and relax!

In Version 4.8 we've made some considerable improvements to our ItemStats implementation. The following games are now supported in Version 4.8:
Age of Conan
Everquest 2
Hellgate: London
Lord of the Rings Online
Pirates of the Burning Sea
Vanguard
Warhammer: Age of Reckoning (WAR)
World of Warcraft
Multi-Language
We also have French, Spanish and German item support for Warcraft using WoWHead and hope to have Russian soon.
Multi-Game Guild Bonus!
In addition, we've added an ItemStats tag for each game like "wowitem", "lotroitem", "aocitem" and "waritem". With these new tags you can show an item for any game regardless of what your primary game of the guild site is set to.
We're getting alot of the items from MMODB right now, except where a better site like Wowhead for Warcraft is available. Their item database is pretty good across these different games.
